South Antrim MP Robin Swann has rounded off a busy week of constituency engagement, hosting a series of nine drop-in surgeries across towns and villages in the area.

Over three days, Mr Swann met directly with residents in Crumlin, Glenavy, Templepatrick, Doagh, Randalstown, Toome, Straid, Ballyduff and Mossley, offering them the chance to raise their concerns and seek advice on a wide range of issues.

Constituents took the opportunity to discuss matters relating to housing and welfare, planning, health and social care, farming, pensions, and roads, among other concerns.

Reflecting on the tour, Mr Swann said:

“The engagement across the nine venues, all over South Antrim, has been excellent. This has been a great opportunity to meet with so many constituents and hear directly from them. I’m looking forward to the next set of surgeries which are already being planned!”

The Ulster Unionist MP described the initiative as both “busy” and “successful”, emphasising the importance of regular, face-to-face engagement with the people he represents.

Mr Swann’s office has confirmed that planning is already underway for further constituency surgeries, which will continue to provide local people with direct access to their MP.
