Rathlin Island Manor House given the go ahead for Marriages and Civil Partnerships

At this evenings Environmental Services Committee of the Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council, Councillors approved Rathlin Manor House as a venue for Civil Marriages and Partnerships subject to compliance with any recommendations of the Council’s licensing section.

The Manor House is in the breathtaking location of ‘Church Bay’ overlooking the harbour, with stunning panoramic views over the Atlantic Ocean.

Steeped in history, the listed Georgian Manor House built in the 18th Century, comprises eleven guest rooms, a licensed restaurant, cafe and an event space to accommodate forty guests.

Rathlin Island is the only UK island with no coronavirus cases to date.

The full decision will go before full council on 1st December for final decision.
