Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Major Investigation Team investigating the murder of Liam Christie in Antrim on Thursday 20th October, have arrested a 43 year old man on suspicion of murder and firearms offences.
The man was arrested in the Antrim area this afternoon ( Friday 28th October ) and remains in custody at this time assisting with police enquiries.
Detective Chief Inspector Anthony Kelly said:
“Our investigation into this appalling murder is ongoing and I continue to appeal to the public for information. We are particularly interested in any dash-cam footage from the Ballycraigy Estate and surrounding area of Antrim between 7am on Wednesday 19th October and 12pm on Thursday 20th October.

This is the third arrest in the case. A 44 year old man has been charged with murder and has appeared a court. A 43 year old man was arrested on suspicion of murder on Wednesday 26th October and has been released on bail to allow for further police enquiries.
