Police investigating after car set on fire outside home in Ballymena


Police in Ballymena are appealing for witnesses and information following a report of a car being set alight in the Lettercreeve area in the early hours of this morning, Saturday October 1st.


Sergeant Cullen said:


“We received a report just before 1am that a vehicle had been set on fire in the driveway of a property.



"Our officers attended along with our colleagues from the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service. The blaze was extinguished and thankfully no-one was injured.



"The Fire Service are treating this incident as deliberate ignition.


“Our investigation is underway and anyone who may have witnessed anyone suspicious in the area at the time of this incident, has dash-cam footage or who may have any information that could help with enquiries, is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference 91 01/10/22.”
