Stolen: The blue Audi A1


Police have launched an investigation following the reported theft of a vehicle in Portglenone early on Friday morning.


The incident occurred shortly after 8am on Friday 20 June, when a blue Audi A1 was reportedly stolen from outside a community centre in the Gortgole Road area of the town.



The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) confirmed the details and have appealed to the public for assistance in locating the vehicle and identifying those responsible.


A police spokesperson said:


“Enquiries are ongoing and officers would ask anyone with any information, dash-cam or CCTV footage, which may be able to help with the investigation, to call them in Ballymena on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 286 20/06/25.”

Officers continue to investigate and are particularly keen to speak with anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area around the time of the incident.
