Police in Mid and East Antrim appeal for information after quad bike theft

The white Yamaha 450 Kodiak quad bike stolen from Larne
Police have launched an appeal for information following the theft of a grey Yamaha 450 Kodiak quad bike in the Deerpark Road area of Larne.
The incident occurred at around 9pm on Thursday 20 November 2025, when the £7,000 vehicle was taken from a rural property. Officers are urging anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity, or who may hold potentially relevant footage, to come forward.
In a statement, police said:
“A grey Yamaha 450 Kodiak quad, valued at £7,000, was stolen from a property. We are appealing for any information that may assist our investigation.”
Residents in the Deerpark Road area are being asked to review any available CCTV, dashcam or doorbell camera footage from around the time of the incident.
Investigators stressed that even seemingly minor details could prove vital, noting:
“Have you seen this quad? Do you have CCTV or doorbell footage from the area around the time of the incident? Any detail no matter how small could help.”
Members of the public with information are urged to contact police on 101, quoting reference 655 of 22/11/2025.
Police added:
“If you can provide any information which may assist us then please contact police by calling 101 and quoting 655 of 22/11/2025.
“If you notice anything suspicious, please contact police immediately. Together, we can keep our community safe.”
The theft comes amid ongoing concerns about rural crime across Northern Ireland, with police continuing to encourage vigilance and prompt reporting of suspicious behaviour.
