Police charge man following burglary in Ballymena

Police have charged a 45-year-old man with burglary, blackmail and sending menacing messages through a public electronic communications network.

This is in relation to a report of a burglary in the Dunclug area of Ballymena on Monday, 20th June.

He is due to appear before Ballymena Magistrates Court this morning, Saturday 25th June.

As is usual procedure all charges were reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
