POLICE APPEAL | Three women stabbed in Belfast by male cyclist


Police are appealing for information and witnesses following the report of three stabbing incidents in Belfast this evening, Monday, 12 October in which three women who were walking along the street sustained stab wounds.


The first incident occurred at approximately 8.10pm on Ormeau Avenue.


The second occurred at approximately 9.00pm on Donegall Square West.


And the third occurred at approximately 10.00pm on University Road.


All three women have been taken to hospital for treatment to their injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.


Police believe the male suspect in all three incidents was riding a pedal cycle.
