Police appeal for information to locate three men awaiting sentencing for courier fraud offences

Police have issued appeals to help trace three men who are co-defendants in the same case and have all previously pleaded guilty to fraud-related offences.


Raymond (Ray) Lee, Elijah Lee, and Mark Millar are all awaiting sentencing in connection with a series of courier frauds committed between 2020 and 2021.



Ray Lee – failed to return from compassionate leave


Police are appealing for information to help locate 32-year-old Raymond (Ray) Lee, who is in breach of his compassionate bail release.


Ray Lee had previously pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit fraud by false representation and money laundering offences linked to a string of courier frauds.


He was on remand in Maghaberry Prison but was released on compassionate leave to attend a funeral on 19 June 2025, after which he failed to return.



Ray Lee is described as being around 5ft 11in tall, of slim build, with brown hair.


Elijah Lee – bench warrant issued

Police are also appealing for information to help locate 60-year-old Elijah Lee, against whom Belfast Crown Court issued a bench warrant on 12 September 2025 after he failed to appear in court.


Elijah Lee has pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit fraud by false representation and possession of criminal property, and is awaiting sentencing.


He is described as being approximately 5ft 10in tall, of medium build, with brown hair.



A police spokesperson said:


“Despite attempts to arrest Elijah Lee, police have so far been unable to locate him. We are appealing to anyone who has seen him, or who knows of his whereabouts, not to approach him directly but to contact police on 101 quoting reference RM25055985.”


Mark Millar – bench warrant issued

A third man, 51-year-old Mark Millar, is also wanted after a bench warrant was issued by Belfast Crown Court on 29 September 2025 when he failed to appear for court.


Mr Millar has pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit fraud by false representation and possession of criminal property in relation to courier fraud offences committed in 2020.


He is described as being approximately 5ft 7in tall, of medium build, with short or balding brown hair.



A police spokesperson said:


“Despite attempts to arrest Mr Millar, police have so far been unable to locate him. We are appealing to anyone who has seen him, or who knows of his whereabouts, not to approach him directly but to contact police on 101 quoting reference RM25059330.”


Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.


Police have also appealed directly to Mr Millar to hand himself in.


Ongoing appeal


All three men are co-defendants in the same case and have already entered guilty pleas to the offences. Police continue to urge anyone with information about their whereabouts to come forward.
