Police appeal for information following burglary at shop in Ballymena


Police in Ballymena are investigating after officers were alerted to a burglary in progress at a shop in the Ballymoney Road area of the town in the early hours of Wednesday 30th November.


According to a police an alarm activation was received shortly before 3.20am and officers attended immediately to find that access had been gained to the shop via the roof.



The intruder had left before the arrival of police and it is believed that one male wearing grey track bottoms and a black coat was involved. It is unclear if anything has been taken at this time.


An investigation is underway and officers would ask anyone with any information about this incident or who may be able to help with their enquiries to call them in Ballymena on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 147 30/11/22.
