Police appeal for information following arson attack at Antrim home
Detectives are appealing for information following a report of arson at residential premises at the Seven Mile Straight area of Antrim this morning (Saturday 5 December).
Detective Constable Robinson said: “Shortly after 4am, it was reported that damaged was caused to a number of front windows of a house in the area. It was reported that a flammable liquid was poured through the front door of the property and set alight. Damage was caused to the front door of the house, with no one inside the property during the incident.
“Enquiries are continuing to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident. We are appealing to anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 192 of 05/12/20. “You can also submit a report online using our non-emergency reporting form via http://www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/. "Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime."
