Police appeal for information after quad bike, trailers and cash stolen in Ballymena burglary

Police are appealing for information following a reported burglary at a business premises in the Moorfields area of Ballymena.


The incident is believed to have taken place overnight between Sunday 6 and Monday 7 July, with the break-in discovered at approximately 8.15am on Monday.



According to the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI), access was gained to a property in the Craigstown Road area, where a large sum of cash was taken along with several high-value items.


Among the stolen items were:


  • A red Honda TRX quad bike

  • A 5ft x 8ft tipping trailer

  • Two Dale Kane 16ft low loader trailers



Enquiries into the incident are ongoing, and police are urging anyone with information about the whereabouts of these items—or who may have been offered them for sale under suspicious circumstances—to come forward.


A PSNI spokesperson said:


“We would ask anyone with any information on the whereabouts of these items or anyone who is offered these items for sale, to contact police in Ballymena on 101 quoting reference number 241 07/07/25.”
