Police appeal for information after Ballymena armed robbery


Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery at a commercial premises in the Larne Road Link area of Ballymena on Tuesday 24th November.


At around 8:20pm on Tuesday evening, one man entered a commercial premises.

He was reported to have been wearing a black puffer jacket with stripes on the hood and the right shoulder, a camouflage peak hat, blue jeans and white trainers. The man was also described to be around 5ft 7in and was carrying a kitchen knife.


The individual pointed the knife at the shop assistant telling them to open the till demanding money. He then left on foot with a sum of money in the direction of Harryville.


Enquires are ongoing and police would appeal for anyone who may have information to contact them on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 1751 24/11/20.
