Plans have been submitted for a major housing development in Mid and East Antrim.
The proposal, for lands at Kintyre Road and Lealies Drive - to the rear of nos 1-21 Bardic Drive, 77-119 Linn Road, 2-88 Fairway, and 1-2 Kintrye Road, Larne would see the construction of around 82 dwellings with associated landscape, open space, access roads and site works.
The full planning application has been made by ProjectCo Larne Limited for the 2.38 hectare site, and if approved would be the latest in a number of new developments in the town.
A consultation on the proposal is scheduled to take place over the weeks ahead with a dedicated and bespoke website (www.KintyreRoadHousing.com) being made available for interested parties to view the consultation documentation and site proposals.
The website will go live on Monday 19 September 2022 and will run for a period of 6 weeks, until Monday 31st October 2022. This will be an online
version of the 'traditional' display boards for viewing, with a connected and easy to use feedback online comment card and direct email contact to the technical team.
An in-person drop-in event will be held at Linn Road Community Centre on Wednesday 28 September 2022, from 1:00pm to 7:00pm to allow interested parties to view the display boards for the proposal and provide feedback via printed comment cards.
