Haldane Fisher's current premises in Ballymena
Mid & East Antrim Borough Council has granted approval to plans submitted by Haldane Fisher which will see the upgrade and transformation of the company's Ballymena depot.
The proposal was submitted on July 6th for the premises located at Paradise Avenue in the town, and was granted at the end of August. Overall, it represents a major investment by the company, indicating confidence and intention for the future of the business in Ballymena.
The current road/site entrance facing main building will be replaced with a Bulk Warehouse Building with signage in the planning drawings indicating that Plumbmaster will be incorporated into the premises. The warehouse will provide storage for plumbing and heating supplies, and a range of building and construction materials.

The plans include the demolition and replacement of the Builders Merchant Building to the rear and will incorporate trade counters, stores, distribution, display areas, offices and canteen, and drawings show the building with Bath Line signage.
Founded in 1946 by Bob Haldane, the company has grown organically and through acquisition, but prides itself in still retaining high levels of personal service one would associate with a family-run business.
Haldane Fisher, part of the Haldane Group, now has a number of brands including Plumbmaster - Plumbing and Heating Merchants, BATH LINE - Bathrooms, and Door Studio with stores across the UK and Ireland.
