Pair rescued after jet ski incident at Antrim Lough Shore

Emergency services have rushed to the scene of an incident involving a jet ski on Lough Neagh, in the area of Antrim Lough Shore.
Love Ballymena understands the Lough Neagh Rescue crew were alerted by the Coastguard after an alarm was raised this afternoon (Monday 2 May) around 3:30pm.
A spokesperson for the Police Service of Northern Ireland commented:
“Police were made aware of a concern for the safety of two people who had fallen from a jet ski while on Lough Neagh, Lough Road, Antrim this afternoon.
“The pair were helped from the water by colleagues from NI Coastguard. NI Ambulance Service also attended.
“There was no requirement for police to attend.”
