Opinion to approve planning for alteration and church hall extension at First Broughshane

The Department for Infrastructure has published an opinion to approve works at the First Broughshane Presbyterian Church on Main Street in the County Antrim village.

Original plans were submitted by the church back on Wednesday 7 December 2016 and included proposed alterations and extension to existing church hall, including the removal of a portion of the graveyard wall, and section of front boundary entrance wall and gates, together with demolition of Session House and No.58 Main Street.

The planning application received 52 letters of objection, and 147 letters supporting.
