Police Service of Northern Ireland have warned of a new social media campaign beginning next week to find those who are skipped court and are wanted for criminal offences.
In a statement on social media, Police said: ‘Operation Relentless will be arriving on our Facebook pages next week!
‘Relentless will see images of people wanted on bench warrants appear on this page in a bid to locate individuals who have failed to turn up at court and are wanted for criminal offences.
’In one week’s time anyone who has an active bench warrant against them can expect to see their face appear here.
‘If you are subject to an active bench warrant you can take action now! You can contact us on 101 or through your solicitor.
‘To the rest of our followers, keep an eye out for the images next week and if you think you can help, remember not to post anything on this page but contact us directly by phoning 101.
’We’ll update you on results as we move forward.’
