Channel 4's Location, Location, Location –a property show hosted by experts Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer
Channel 4’s flagship property show Location, Location, Location is heading back to Northern Ireland — and this time, it’s the house hunters who are being called to step forward.
The long-running primetime programme is casting for its 2026 series and is actively looking for individuals, couples and families across Northern Ireland who are ready to buy this May.
For anyone navigating today’s competitive housing market, it could be an opportunity to secure expert guidance — and a national television audience.
Fronted by presenters and property experts Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer, the series has been a staple of Location, Location, Location for more than 20 years. In that time, it has become the biggest property buying programme on British television, following hopeful buyers as they search for their perfect home.
Now, for its next series filming in 2026, the production team is seeking chain-free (or SSTC) applicants across Northern Ireland who are ready to move forward with a purchase.
A spokesperson for Channel 4 said:
“We are casting for the new series, and we are interested in hearing from chain free (or SSTC) house hunters across Northern Ireland, who would be ready to buy in May this year.
“Applications are now open and we’re looking to spread the word to the community to encourage house hunters to apply and get the help they need. We are looking for individuals, families and couples who need Kirstie and Phil’s expertise to buy their dream home in Northern Ireland.”
Whether first-time buyers taking their first step on the ladder, families upsizing, homeowners downsizing, or those relocating in search of a “forever home”, the call is open.
Channel 4 also emphasised its commitment to representation on screen. As part of its ongoing drive towards greater inclusivity, the broadcaster is strongly encouraging candidates of all backgrounds and identities to apply.
Applications can be made via the Channel 4 website.
Successful applications will be handled by production company IWC Media. The company will contact applicants directly if they wish to take an application further and will process personal data in accordance with its privacy policy, available on request.
With the housing market continuing to challenge buyers across Northern Ireland, the prospect of expert support from two of the UK’s most recognisable property professionals could prove an attractive one. For those ready to make their move this spring, the cameras could soon be rolling.
