Moy Park are proud to have recently supported St Vincent de Paul (SVP) with a donation of £7,000 worth of vouchers to help bolster the charity's ability to offer assistance to people in need.
The local branch of SVP, which covers the Ballymena, Antrim and Randalstown areas, has highlighted that the number of families in need and requiring support has increased considerably in light of the ongoing cost of living crisis being faced by communities across the country.
Mary Waide, SVP Regional President for the North Region commented on the support:
“On behalf of St Vincent de Paul, I would like to thank Moy Park for the very generous donation. The vouchers provided will go a long way to supporting many families in Antrim and surrounding areas who are being impacted by the current cost of living crisis.”
The donation to the charity builds on Moy Park’s range of existing and long-established community measures, including charity and educational programmes, foodbank donations, and its £1 million Community Support Fund.
The company also partners closely with FareShare and has supplied over 45,000 meals over the past six months.
