Motorcyclist taken to hospital after late-night crash on Glenarm Coast Road

A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after a single-vehicle collision on the Coast Road in Glenarm on Wednesday night.

Emergency services were called to the scene at around 9.55pm following reports of the crash in the Glenarm area.

Police said the rider, a man, was injured in the collision and was taken to hospital for treatment. His condition has not been disclosed.

Appeal for witnesses

Officers are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have captured it on CCTV, dashcam or other footage, to come forward as enquiries continue.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference 2001 of 29/07/26.

Road reopened

The Coast Road was closed for several hours while emergency services dealt with the incident and conducted initial investigations. The road has since reopened to traffic.

Police have not released any further details about the circumstances surrounding the collision.
