Glenarm Castle will host the inaugural Minis at the Castle on Sunday, 29 June 2025, a vibrant Classic Mini Car Show celebrating one of UK’s most beloved automotive icons.

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Glenarm Castle Estate, this free public event promises a full day of nostalgia, community spirit, and charitable giving in aid of Air Ambulance Northern Ireland (NI).

To date over 100 vehicle owners have already booked their place to join the show!

Open to all visitors at no cost, the show will take place in the concert field just inside the castle gates, clearly signposted for easy access.

Classic Minis take centre stage

A highlight of Northern Ireland’s summer events calendar, the show invites car enthusiasts and families alike to admire a wide array of Classic Minis, each showcasing the unique charm and design heritage of this iconic vehicle.

From 1pm to 5pm, guests can enjoy a walk through history as gleaming Minis of all styles and vintages line up for the Show & Shine display, bringing the golden era of British motoring to life.

To add excitement to the display, class awards will be presented at 3pm, recognising the Best in Class and Second Runner-Up, while a raffle will be held in support of Air Ambulance NI, reinforcing the event’s strong charitable ethos.

Weekend kicks off with scenic Mini Run

The weekend celebration begins the evening before, on Saturday, 28 June, with a Classic Mini Charity Run.

Organisers are calling on owners to “Join the Classic Mini Charity Run: Saturday, 28th June, meeting at 5pm at Glenarm Marina Car Park!”—an invitation to enjoy a scenic drive and help raise vital funds for Northern Ireland’s air ambulance service.

Family fun, food, and market delights

Adding to the festive atmosphere, Mini-themed traders will be on-site, offering memorabilia, parts, and Mini merchandise.

Visitors can also enjoy a bustling Tedberry Market, a ticketed area offering a wide selection of local food and drink vendors. While access to the market is ticketed separately for the general public, car entrants and their passengers will benefit from a 50% discount on admission.

The event is dog-friendly and includes children’s entertainment, ensuring a day out that appeals to all generations.

Activities at a glance:

  • Show & Shine Display of Classic Minis

  • Class Awards and Raffle at 3pm

  • Mini-themed Traders on site

  • Tedberry Market with food, drink, and crafts (ticketed)

  • Children’s Activities and Dog-Friendly Grounds

Perks for car entrants

Those wishing to exhibit their Minis are encouraged to arrive from 10:00am for vehicle placement.

Car entrants receive a finisher’s award, access to the Glenarm Gardens, and discounted entry to the Tedberry Market. Early-bird entry is priced at £10 for those who register before 23 June 2025, after which the fee rises to £15, with awards subject to availability.

Registration is open online via Jotform.

Note: Perks apply exclusively to registered car entrants and their passengers. All other visitors must purchase standard Tedberry Market tickets if they wish to enter the market zone.

In support of Air Ambulance NI

At the heart of Minis at the Castle is a meaningful cause—supporting the Air Ambulance Northern Ireland, which provides critical medical care across the region. Both the raffle and the charity run contribute directly to this life-saving service, ensuring the event not only entertains but also gives back.

With its rich mix of Classic Mini heritage, family entertainment, and charity support, Minis at the Castle promises to become a cherished fixture in Northern Ireland’s annual event calendar.
