McKeever Hotels awarded ‘Employer of the Year’



McKeever Hotels has been awarded ’Employer of the Year’ at the prestigious Business Eye Family Business Awards, held recently in the Culloden Estate & Spa.


The local hospitality group, owned by the McKeever family, boasts in it‘s portfolio the Adair Arms Hotel (Ballymena), Dunsilly Hotel (Antrim), Dunadry Hotel and Gardens (Antrim), Corr’s Corner Hotel (Belfast), and Dillons Hotel (Letterkenny).



Speaking ahead of the awards ceremony, Business Eye’s Brenda Buckley said:


“Northern Ireland has a really strong family business sector, from some of our very largest companies to a network of SMEs across every sector.


“The Family Business category at our annual Business Eye Awards has always attracted our largest and more diverse entry by some distance.


“So we feel that the time is right, especially as we emerge from the Covid pandemic, for Northern Ireland’s many family businesses to have their very own awards scheme, and that their achievement can be showcased and recognised.”


Winning the ‘Employer of the Year’ category, McKeever Hotels was recognised as a Northern Ireland based family business leading the way in focusing on its employees, ‘through employee benefits, initiatives and/or communicating effectively with its workforce’.


McKeever Hotels has invest heavily in their teams with ongoing training programs, high street discounts and perks as well as health and wellness incentives.



Having started in 1986 as a small restaurant and growing to 5 hotels, the passion remains rooted in delivering an authentic and warm experience serving the very best in locally sourced food.
