
After a stunning win the All-Ireland Premier Junior Camogie Final, Mayor of Mid and East Antrim Alderman Noel Williams said he is looking forward to congratulating the Antrim Camogs with a special reception.
Antrim defeated Armagh 5-05 to 0-14 to win the All-Ireland premier junior camogie final which played out at Croke Park last Sunday, August 7.
The girls played a convincing game against and were helped home with a strong start in the second half, and a brilliant performance by Dervla Cosgrove who hit four goals - including a hat-trick inside 84 seconds. Goalkeeper Áine Graham made a number of excellent saves to also ensure her side came out on top.

The Mayor of Mid and East Antrim, Alderman Noel Williams, said:
“Huge congratulations to Antrim on their superb victory in the All-Ireland Premier Junior Camogie Final.
“I commend all the players, coaches and volunteers on their brilliant efforts, which have resulted in this historic success. This victory is testament to their hard work, talent and belief, which is inspirational to so many.
