Man treated after stabbing in Ballymena housing estate as police launch investigation

Police are investigating after a man was stabbed in a Ballymena housing estate during the early hours of Thursday morning.
Emergency services were called to the Dunclug Park area shortly before 7.45am on Thursday 28 May following reports of a stabbing.
It is understood Northern Ireland Air Ambulance also was tasked to the incident.
The male victim received medical treatment at the scene before being taken for further care. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening at this stage.
The incident sparked a significant police response in the area as officers began enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the attack.
Police enquiries ongoing in Dunclug
Residents in the Dunclug area woke to the presence of emergency services as investigators worked at the scene on Thursday morning.
At present, no further details about the victim or any potential suspects have been released publicly.
