Man charged in connection with bomb explosion in Randalstown

Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland's Legacy Investigation Branch have charged a 53 year old man with terrorism offences.

 

He has been charged with causing an explosion and possessing explosives with intent to endanger life.



The charges are in connection with a bomb explosion on New Street in Randalstown on 25 November 1990.

 

He will appear before Ballymena Magistrates via video link today, Saturday 7th January.

 

As is normal procedure the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
