Detectives investigating an incident at a property in the Rathglynn area of Antrim on 23 October have charged an 18-year-old male to appear before Antrim Magistrates' Court on 17 November.
The male has been charged with the offences of aggravated burglary with intent to commit grievous bodily harm and criminal damage.
As is normal procedure, the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
A 31 year-old man has been arrested in relation to the same incident on suspicion of aggravated burglary with intent to inflict grievous bodily harm and criminal damage, and he remains in police custody assisting with enquiries.
