A 46-year-old man from the Larne area was convicted at Ballymena Court yesterday, 31st August, for the sexual assault of a vulnerable adult.
He is expected to be sentenced on 26th October 2022.
Detective Chief Inspector Kerry Brennan said:
“We would like to praise the victim in this case for their bravery in coming forward to police, and supporting the investigation that has led to this conviction.
“If you have been, or are being, sexually abused or assaulted in any way please come forward and report to Police. We will listen, treat you with respect and act to keep you and others safe.
