Man (38) dies following fall from moving vehicle

Police have confirmed that a man has sadly died following a serious road incident in the Markethill area of County Armagh last month.
The incident occurred on Saturday 12th July on Coolmillish Road, where emergency services responded to reports that a man had sustained serious injuries after falling from a moving vehicle.
In a statement released by the Police Service of Northern Ireland, Roads Policing Inspector Cherith Adair from the Collision Investigation Unit said:
“Officers responded to a report of a man who had sustained serious injuries following the incident on Coolmillish Road just after 4.30pm.
“Colleagues from Northern Ireland Ambulance Service also attended and the man was conveyed to hospital.”
Tragically, the injured man – 38-year-old Aaron Moffet from Portadown – succumbed to his injuries and passed away on Friday 1st August, police confirmed.
Police are urging any witnesses who may have been in the area at the time, or who have any relevant dash cam or mobile phone footage, to come forward as part of the continuing investigation.
Inspector Adair added:
“Our investigation is ongoing, and we appeal to anyone with phone/ dash cam footage, or information which might assist, to get in touch.
