Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland's Major Investigation Team have charged a 29-year-old man with murder.
He is expected to appear before Coleraine Magistrates' Court sitting in Ballymena via videolink on Monday morning, 1 August.
The charge relates to the investigation into the murder of 63-year-old Victor Hamilton in Orkney Drive in Ballymena.
As is normal procedure, all charges are reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
Detective Inspector Gina Quinn said:
"We would like to thank the public for their assistance to date and continue to appeal to anyone with any information that could assist us with our investigation to contact us on 101 quoting reference 273 27/07/22.

A 23-year-old woman has been released on bail pending further enquiries while a man aged 33 arrested on Sunday, 31st July remains in custody at this time.
