Leading food company Moy Park has donated 10 sports packs to local schools in Ballymena.

The schools received a combination of football, rugby, hockey, and Gaelic sports packs to help support local school children with the equipment needed to lead a fit and healthy lifestyle.

The schools are the latest group to benefit from Moy Park’s long-established community initiatives, which include charity and educational programmes alongside the company’s Community Support Fund.

Chris Weir, General Manager at Moy Park, Ballymena commented on the support given to the local schools:

“We’re proud to continue supporting local organisations in our communities. We hope by providing local school children with this equipment, that we will encourage them to lead a fit and healthy lifestyle.

"Over the coming weeks, we plan to donate further sports packs to schools and community groups local to our sites across the UK.”
