Landslide in County Antrim

There has been a large landside on the Slieveanorra area between Ballymoney and the Antrim Coast.

Ballymoney man Andy McCurdy's journey was brought to a halt when he was on his way to visit with friends in Cushendun.

Hundreds of tonnes of peat and soil has come off the Mountain, blocking the road. It is excpected that this road will be closed for some time as it will be quite an operation to clear the landslide.
