KLM set to increase flights between Belfast and Amsterdam this summer

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines is set to increase its Cityhopper service connecting Belfast and Amsterdam this summer.

In a show of confidence in the local travel market and in response to passenger demand, the airline will increase capacity on the route from Belfast City from 7 to 12 weekly flight connections between 3rd July 2023 and 25 August 2023.

Always a popular choice for Northern Ireland travellers, Amsterdam is the Netherlands’ capital, known for its artistic heritage, elaborate canal system and narrow houses with gabled facades, legacies of the city’s 17th-century Golden Age. Its Museum District houses the Van Gogh Museum, works by Rembrandt and Vermeer at the Rijksmuseum, and modern art at the Stedelijk.

The route operated by KLM Cityhopper, uses the Embraer 175 aircraft, carrying 88 passengers. Passengers not only have the opportunity to visit Amsterdam, but can also choose to seamlessly connect to up to 100 European and intercontinental destinations on KLM’s extensive network.
