Kids get ready for the DESSERTCO Halloween Hunt

This Halloween the lovely people at DESSERTCO, based in the Raceview Mill complex in Broughshane, have been hard to work making their delicious desserts and scheming a spooktacular Halloween Hunt for you to enjoy!

The DESSERTCO Halloween Hunt will take place tomorrow (Saturday 31 October) between 10am and 4pm, when you can search for the pumpkin shaped tickets hidden around Broughshane and Ballymena. If you’re fortunate to find one, you can take it the DESSERTCO shop and receive a special Trick or Treat box!

Lauren Taylor commented: “We at DESSERTCO realise how difficult this Halloween Break has been for some. Not only is there an extended Halloween Break for the kiddies but also all the usual Halloween activities have been cancelled. So we have arranged a little treasure hunt for you all to have a little fun!”

Here are the rules:

1. DESSERTCO will share some picture clues on their Facebook event page of pumpkin tickets which have been hidden around Ballymena + Broughshane.

2. Grab the kids, go and hunt for those pumpkin tickets!

3. If you’re fortunate to find one, take your special ticket to DESSERTCO in Raceview Mill and trade it for your special trick or treat box! 🎃🎃

(added extra little treat to all kiddies who come into the shop in costume 🎃😊)

DESSERTCO just ask that you take a maximum of two tickets per family - to give others a chance to enjoy the activity too.

You can complete the full treasure hunt and enter a special draw by visiting each of the pumpkin locations and take a photo of each location, then send these in a collage to DESSERTCO in messenger via their Facebook page. You will entered into a draw for a free two-slice delivery on Sunday 1 November.

As always social distancing measures must be followed when queueing outside the shop. Only one household can enter the shop at a time. Facemasks are strongly encouraged also and there is hand sanitiser at the counter for you tI use.
