SuperValu and Centra, part of Musgrave Northern Ireland, have awarded their first set of £1K donations through their £40K Big Community Giveaway fund to community groups across the region.
Kells and Connor Youth Club was one of the recent organisations to be awarded a donation. The club caters for different age groups, providing workshops, activities and games for the young people who attend.
Sharon Gault, Specialist Youth Woker, The Bytes Project said:
“We are so grateful to SuperValu for their generous donation of £1000 to our Youth Club, ran in partnership with KCCIA and ‘The Bytes Project’.
"This investment will go towards much needed resources and help fund activities on a mental health and wellbeing programme for youth in the local community. Prioritising the mental well-being of our local youth and equipping them to navigate the future with confidence and resilience is paramount in cultivating a healthier and more prosperous future for everyone.
