Jet2 opens Winter 2027/28 ski flights from Belfast International with Austria route now on sale

Northern Ireland’s skiers and snowboarders can now book their Winter 2027/28 flights to the Austrian Alps after Jet2.com launched its latest ski programme from Belfast International Airport.

The airline has put its weekly Saturday service to Salzburg on sale, giving travellers the opportunity to secure flights more than a year in advance for the 2027/28 ski season.

Jet2.com said the service will operate from mid-December 2027 and continue throughout the winter season, providing direct access to one of Europe’s most popular gateways for ski holidays.

From Salzburg, holidaymakers can reach many of Austria’s best-known resorts, including Kaprun, Mayrhofen and Obertauern, making the route an attractive option for both skiers and snowboarders travelling from Northern Ireland.

Weekend departures are designed to give travellers flexibility for week-long breaks or shorter ski trips.

Bookings open well in advance

By releasing the programme now, Jet2.com is allowing customers to book early, potentially securing their preferred travel dates before peak winter demand.

Passengers booking the service will receive a 10kg hand baggage allowance, while optional hold luggage and ski carriage are available, with each allowing up to 22kg, subject to booking and applicable charges.
