Jet2 announce expanded Iceland programme from Belfast International Airport

Updated: Sep 9, 2022 and Jet2CityBreaks have today announced the return of their once-in-a-lifetime trips to Iceland from Belfast International Airport for Winter 23/24. After proving to be hugely popular with customers in Northern Ireland, an expanded programme will give local holidaymakers more opportunity to experience this incredible destination, at the best times of year to experience the spectacular Northern Lights.

Customers in Northern Ireland can now select from a choice of three trips, including one three-night trip in November 2023, one four-night trip in February 2024 and one three-night trip in March 2024.

The expanded programme for Winter 23/24 from Belfast International Airport gives holidaymakers even more chance to experience everything Iceland has to offer. Whether it is the cityscape of Reykjavik, the spectacular Northern Lights, or the stunning Golden Circle and its geothermal lagoons, spas and waterfalls, Iceland offers an incredible variety of things for customers to experience and see, which is why and Jet2CityBreaks have expanded their programme for Winter 23/24 from Belfast International Airport.

It also means that will be the only airline to operate to Iceland from Belfast International Airport in Winter 23/24.

Announcing the programme today comes in response to the number of customers who book early when it comes to choosing a flight or city break to Iceland. With and Jet2holidays pledging not to introduce any surcharges, this means customers can book their flight or city break, knowing that they have locked the price in.

Customers can pick from flight-only or package holiday options, with package options with Jet2CityBreaks available for a low £60 per person deposit. Package options with Jet2CityBreaks include a guided Northern Lights Tour, flights with, including 22kg hold luggage and transfers to and from the airport, as well as a choice of 3 and 4-star hotels in central Reykjavik which provide the perfect base from which to explore and experience authentic Icelandic cuisine. In addition, a choice of excursions are also available to purchase including those to the South Shore, Golden Circle and Blue Lagoon.

All flights to Keflavík International Airport near Reykjavik will be operated by award-winning, and the full programme from Belfast International Airport is as follows:

• Three-night trip from 20th November – 23rd November 2023

• Four-night trip from 22nd February – 26th February 2024

• Three-night trip from 11th March – 14th March 2024
