Coleman's Garden Centre, Templepatrick and the Antrim Lions are coming together to host a Hog Roast evening for the CRS.
This ticket only event on Thursday 13 October at 6.30pm will be held in the Garden Centre restaurant.
Tickets cost only £25 per person and this includes a hog roast buffet style informal meal including a pre-dinner reception drink and the opportunity to listen to CRS’s Regional Commander, Sean McCarry OBE tell us of the life saving work they undertake.
Richard Fry, Managing Director of Coleman’s Garden Centre, commented:
“We are delighted to support the Community Rescue Service in association with Antrim Lions as they celebrate their 51st Charter night with this fundraising event.
"Many of you may have seen earlier this year the great work the CRS undertake in BBC NI’s documentary The Search : Finding Northern Ireland’s Missing. The CRS is not publicly funded, is manned solely by volunteers and rely 100% on fundraising to continue their life saving work.
"Everyone in the garden centre team is looking forward with great anticipation to finding out more about the work they undertake. We would encourage all our customers to take the opportunity to join us for this event by purchasing tickets that can be obtained by contacting us here at the garden centre or book a table online."
