Missing: 24-year-old Caitlin Green
Police and local search teams are appealing for public help in locating Caitlin Green, a 24-year-old woman who has been missing from the Enniskeen area of Lurgan since Saturday 31 January.
Caitlin, also known as Caity, was last seen around 12.30pm leaving a friend’s home near the Derry Road/Lord Lurgan Park area. Since then, she has not been seen or heard from, sparking deep concern among her family and friends.
Caitlin is reported to have some vulnerabilities, and her loved ones are anxious for her safety. Police enquiries indicate that Caitlin has had no activity on her social media accounts since the weekend, which family say is highly unusual.
Extensive searches are underway in the local area, involving police officers and local search and rescue volunteers. Authorities are asking anyone in the community to remain vigilant and report any sightings.
At the time she went missing, Caitlin was wearing black leggings and a grey Regatta jacket. It is believed she did not have a change of clothes with her.
A police spokesperson said:
“We want to know Caitlin is safe and give peace of mind to family and loved ones who are missing her. If anyone has any information, or if Caitlin herself sees this, please contact police immediately.”
Members of the public are urged to contact local police on 101. For those wishing to report information anonymously, Crimestoppers can be reached at 0800 555 111. Reports can also be submitted online at PSNI Make a Report and Crimestoppers UK.
The PSNI emphasises that even small pieces of information can be crucial in locating missing persons. Community support is vital as authorities continue their search efforts.
