FSQ is hitting all the right notes

String quartet FSQ (Four String Quartet), an up and coming group of County Antrim musicians, are fast becoming a popular choice for a wide range of functions across Northern Ireland, including weddings. The young and bubbly girls love to perform a range of music genres including; classical, pop, traditional and film.

Shania Davis from Antrim, a former pupil at Cambridge House Grammar School in Ballymena, Sinead Walsh & Caitlin McPeake from Moneyglass, and Cellist Erin Peel from Mosley, make up the group and have been enjoying the musical journey alongside completing their University degrees in various fields. Shania has just graduated from the Ulster University with a First Class Honours in Music!

Speaking to Love Ballymena Shania said, “We set up the quartet to be able to meet up and make music every week for our own enjoyment, and then when people starting booking us to play, it felt like a little bonus!

“All four of us have been heavily involved in the Ballymena Festival, Ulster Youth Orchestra, and I also play in the Ballymena Chamber Orchestra.”

The girls would love to perform at your next function, or for your upcoming wedding, and would be happy to chat with you about taking your event to the next level.
