Free pre-loved school uniforms available now across Mid and East Antrim




As children prepare to return to school, Mid and East Antrim Council is helping families across the borough through the uniform scheme which provides free pre-loved school uniforms - great for the environment and brilliant for the family budget!


The School Uniform Scheme is open to all families who require school uniform items – there are no qualifying criteria, and a referral is not required to access the scheme. Uniform items are subject to availability.



FREE School uniform items can be collected at the below locations:


BALLYMENA AREA

15 - 19 August and 22 - 26 August

Pop Up Shop, Tower Centre, Ballymena Open 10am – 4pm


CARRICKFERGUS AREA

22 - 26 August

Pop Up Shop, De Courcy Centre, Carrickfergus

Open 10am – 4pm



LARNE AREA

22 - 26 August

Pop Up Shop, Main Street, Larne

Open 10am – 4pm


Beneficiaries will be asked to complete a very short questionnaire, which is anonymous. This will allow the council to measure the impact of the scheme.


Please note all uniforms have been safely sorted and stored in line with all Government restrictions.
