Firmus Energy Supply has announced a further cut to domestic gas tariffs, with customers in Northern Ireland’s Ten Towns Network set to benefit from a 7.86% reduction from 1 October 2025.

The move will deliver average annual savings of £78 per household, adding to the 11.84% decrease implemented by the supplier in April. Taken together, the two consecutive reductions amount to almost 19% off tariffs since April, equivalent to a saving of £210 per year.

Ryan Miskimmin, Sales Director at firmus energy Supply, said:

“We are pleased to share our second tariff reduction of the year and are always committed to passing on any savings to customers, whenever it is possible for us to do so. Having engaged with the Utility Regulator, and Consumer Council, we are able to announce this reduction of 7.86 %.

“Since April this year, our consecutive reductions have decreased our tariffs by almost 19%, representing an average household saving of £210 per year.

“As we head into the colder months, we know that these savings coupled with the constant heat and instant hot water that natural gas provides, will be welcomed by Ten Towns customers.”

The Ten Towns Network covers areas outside Greater Belfast, including Derry/Londonderry, Limavady, Coleraine, Antrim, Ballymena, Newtownabbey, and Armagh.

Firmus Energy said that an announcement regarding tariffs in the Greater Belfast Network area will follow in the coming weeks.
