Final call to drop off gifts to Mission Christmas Appeal

Cool FM and Downtown Radio Cash for Kids appeal aims to ensure no child wakes up without presents this Christmas

With Christmas just around the corner, there’s still time to ensure no child goes without this festive season by donating to the Cool FM and Downtown Radio Cash for Kids ‘Mission Christmas’ appeal.

This Monday 19th December is the last chance to drop off your gifts at any local Harry Corry store in Northern Ireland, with gifts for the 7-15 age group being especially encouraged.

With families across the country feeling the pinch more than ever due to the cost-of-living crisis, the team at Mission Christmas have been inundated with calls for help from social workers, teachers and front-line service workers to support these families in need.

Last year the generosity of Northern Ireland’s general public and local businesses meant that over 11,000 children were able to wake up to a present which they otherwise wouldn’t have had. The team at Cash for Kids hope this year’s appeal, will be no different as they call on people to ‘give a little’ as the final few days of the campaign approach.
