Turning Point NI announce opening of new Revive Centre

Turning Point NI are pleased to announce the upcoming opening of the charity’s REVIVE CENTRE (incorporating SE Definition Studios) in Ballymena on Sunday 6 June, with the support of Mid and East Antrim Borough Council, and The National Lottery Community Fund.

Established in May 2015, Turning Point NI began as a grass roots organisation to reach out to those within the community experiencing crisis.

Six years on the highly valued organisation has continued to grow while adapting to the need, and remaining grounded within the community. The Revive Centre is the latest initiative from the local charity that operates as a mental health hub for those experiencing any form mental health crisis.

The organisation through its partnership with the Northern Health and Social Care Trust aims to:

• reduce the prevalence of suicide and self harming behaviours within the area

• promoting positive mental well being

• provide resilience and support to families who have been bereaved by suicide.

The newly launched Revive Centre, incorporating SE Studios Definition, will specifically provide a holistic approach to enhancing physical and emotional well-being, helping to increase self esteem, and reducing anxiety and stress.

The studio space for will provide a welcoming environment for everyone in the wider community to get involved in physical activity, with a range of fitness classes and small group training sessions.

Understanding the huge positive impact and the many benefits of physical activity, the Revive Centre will include a programme of personalised one-to-one training for clients of Turning Point NI with the hubs very own qualified Personal Trainer, Shannon Elder.

SE Studios Definintion at the Revive Centre will launch with the following classes, and more to come in the months ahead:

• HIIT STEP

• METAFIT

• BARBELLS

• CONDITIONING

The team are excited to invite the community along to the opening day (Sunday 6 June, 12pm - 2pm) when you will have the opportunity to to meet everyone involved and get a sneak peak at the brand new studio space.

Opening Day will include:

• Introductory 15 min classes METAFIT & HITTSTEP (choose to participate if you wish)

• Class timetable

• Meet the Personal Trainer

• Refreshments including sandwiches, protein balls, and drinks

All membership options and classes can be booked through the App Glofox, available to download for all Apple and Android devices.

SE Definition Studios will go live on the App on Saturday 5 June!
