Emergency services tasked to serious road traffic collision in County Antrim

The Air Ambulance has been tasked to the scene of a serious incident in the area of the Knockagh Road in Carrickfergus on Wednesday morning, 26 January.
According to a report by the Causeway Coast Community a man has been trapped below a Heavy Goods Vehicle.
Northern Ireland Ambulance Service ground crews are also in attendance.
The incident is ongoing and details are limited at this time.
The Knockagh Road has been closed as emergency services deal with the incident.
A spokesperson for the PSNI said:
“Motorists are advised that the Knockagh Road, Carrickfergus is currently closed following a serious road traffic collision.
“Please seek an alternative route for your journey.”
