Emergency Services respond to fire at Bullitt Hotel in Belfast

Firefighters have been tasked to the Bullitt Hotel in Belfast City Centre on Tuesday afternoon.

Smoke can be seen rising from the top of the building.

Reports from the scene suggest the fire started in Babel, Bullitt Hotel's rooftop bar. The facility includes a kitchen and garden, boasting panoramic views across Belfast.

A spokesperson from the Police Service of Northern Ireland said:

“Motorists are advised that Victoria Street, Belfast City Centre, is currently closed due to a fire in the area.

“The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service are currently in attendance.

“Please avoid the area.”
