Emergency at Cushendall Beach

A full scale emergency was declared this evening in #Cushendall after a swimmer got into difficulty.
Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue, Red Bay Lifeboat, NIAS crews, HM Coastguard Rescue Helicopter from Prestwick, and Coastguards from Ballycastle and Larne attended the scene.
It is reported that the casualty was transferred from the scene by NIAS to Hospital.
There are no further details at present.
