Last night (Friday 23 October) officers from Ballymena’s District Support Team conducted a stop search of a vehicle and recovered a quantity of drugs.
A follow up search at an address led officers to more drugs and other items.
In total they recovered approximately £3000 worth of suspected Class A drugs, a large quantity of cash along with a number of other prohibited items.
A male in his 20s was arrested for a number of offences including Possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply.
The male has been released on bail to allow for further enquiries to be carried out.
