Drugs and £15,000 cash seized during searches in Ballymena and Ahoghill

A man has been arrested following the execution of a warrant in the Ballymena and Ahoghill areas.

PSNI District Support Team, supported by the Tactical Support Group (TSG) and Local Policing Team colleagues mounted the planned operation in the town on Friday 10 March.

As a result of searches suspected Class A and Class B drugs were located along with approximately £15,000 cash.

Approximately £15,000 cash seized during the operation.

A spokesperson for the Police Service of Northern Ireland commented:

"One male was arrested and will be asked to account for his involvement.
