Spook-tacular fun and seasonal creativity await at Dobbies’ Antrim Garden Centre this October and November
Families, dog lovers and green-fingered guests are in for a treat as Dobbies Garden Centres unveils a magical lineup of autumn and Halloween-themed events at its Antrim store.
Running across October and into early November, the store will host three distinctive events designed to celebrate the season — from spooky costume contests and puppet-friendly fun, to a hands-on terrarium workshop paired with a luxury afternoon tea.
A paw-fect autumn at the Pup-kin Patch
Back by popular demand, the Pup-kin Patch event promises a tail-wagging good time for canine companions.
Dogs attending the Antrim store can enjoy autumn-themed toys, a puppuccino treat, and a photo opportunity set against a stunning seasonal backdrop — perfect for a shareable pet ‘paw-trait’.
The £12.50 ticket also includes special pet department offers, £5 off a £25 spend, and one free hot drink with a puppuccino when purchasing any cake from the restaurant.
The Pup-kin Patch takes place on Saturday 25, Sunday 26, Friday 31 October, and Saturday 1 November.
Little scare-lings brings Halloween magic to life

For children and families, Dobbies presents its Little Scare-lings: Witches, Wizards and Wicked Treats event. Held in both Antrim and Lisburn, this event features a Halloween-themed afternoon tea, complete with savoury sandwiches and spooky sweets.
Children can get hands-on making slime and magic potions, while adults can enjoy tea and cake or optional afternoon tea upgrades. Costumes are encouraged — with prizes awarded for the spookiest outfit.
Tickets are £15 per child, and from £7.50 for adults, with events on Saturday 18, Sunday 19, Saturday 25, Sunday 26, Friday 31 October, and Saturday 1 November.
Terrarium workshop with afternoon tea: a plant lover’s dream

Gardeners and craft lovers can get creative at the Autumn Harvest Terrarium Workshop. Taking place on 11, 17 and 18 October, this event blends horticultural know-how with seasonal design.
Dobbies’ Green Team will guide attendees through making their own mini terrariums adorned with autumnal décor.
After the workshop, guests will enjoy a three-tiered Traditional Afternoon Tea, including savoury and sweet delights, with unlimited tea and coffee. Tickets are £45, with prosecco or Luxury Afternoon Tea upgrades available at extra cost.
Fun for all ages this autumn
Dobbies’ Events Programme Manager, Ayesha Nickson, said she is excited to bring these seasonal experiences to the local community.
“It’s fantastic to have such a variety of events on offer and there really is something for everyone to enjoy, with fun for all ages.
“Tickets are selling fast for our planting and afternoon tea event, as it’s the perfect afternoon out for couples and friends who love to be creative. Our Little Scare-lings event is a firm favourite for families, with plenty of action-packed activities, and the Pup-kin Patch is back by popular demand, this year in more stores after it was such a hit last year.
“We can’t wait to celebrate autumn and Halloween with our customers this spooky season.”
Tickets for all events are available now at www.dobbies.com/events.
Availability may vary by store, so early booking is recommended.
